THANK GOD! (I really mean that!)

I passed my chem test!!!!!!!! I really thought that I failed that sucker, but guess what!?

I GOT A "B"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was sooo happy that I almost cried, almost!!! lol

ok, happy moment over.

So....I figured i'd post b/c I'm bored and I can't get my mind to focus on the homework, which i will finish when I get home.

Right now, I am sitting in a swivel chair at the willoughby-eastlake public library, in my not so comfortable school bells uniform (seeing that it's 5 o'clock!), and I'm freezing.

I have my i-pod on, the only thing keeping me sane, as I wait for my mother to pick me up.

Colbie Caillat is amazing. A lot of her songs remind me of Daniel, who I can't seem to get off my mind as of late.... ; )

He should be here in 9 days, so I am very happy about that.

I will be signing up for my ASL classes soon enough, and I can't wait. I love using my hands when I talk, so using them TO talk is very appealing to me!!!

This past weekend was great, I had a church conference. I was on the dance/drama team, so I am very sore today!!!!

Well, I want to write more, but my dear mother should be picking me up soon. I guess I'll add to this later, eh? Ja~ne!

Life is CRAZY.

My week had been quite hectic and I am thankful for the weekend, although it seems to brings its own set of doings that I must take care of!

School is going OK I suppose, even though I am having a difficult time in Chemistry, so that's nothing new.

A friend of mine, Brenna, called me last night at 8 to ask if I wanted to go the the movies with her. I agreed, and I was at her house at 9. We saw the movie "Bella"- and I suggest you see it as well. I really enjoyed it.

With going to bed late last night, and getting up early this morning, I'm quite frazzled. I was supposed to do a praise dance at Lakeland with a friend of my mom. So I was up at 8:30- which is quite early for me on a weekend. -_-

But I was OK with it....UNTIL

I found out I wouldn't be dancing until 2. I wish she would have told us this information. My mom has work to do, I have a paper to write after I vent here, and I could have gotten another hour or two of sleep.

So, Janie will call me later and we'll drive back up to Lakeland.

Then- tonight, I have my aunt Diana's party to go to, which should be nice. And Marissa's b-day party is tomorrow. So that should be fun!

Daniel is coming up to visit on the 8th for sure now, he got it cleared with his dad. It'll make for a great weekend. I miss him a lot, seeing as that last time I was him was in early July. He'll (hopefully) be able to come to my school on Friday. Then he'll get to go to my church on Sunday. I'm very much looking forward to that.....

well, now that I am done venting, and this post was kida sorta pointless, perhaps I should go and work on my English lit paper that is due on Monday, eh? I just have to make some citations then I'm done! yey me! Have a great weekend everyone- God bless!

just an update...

WELL, life is crazy as always.

May I ask you, what is the point of chemistry? I mean, honestly. I don't plan to use in the work place. I want to be a translator or a teacher- both would require learning ASL- not understanding net ionic equations.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it'll help me get into a good collage, but right now? I'd LOVE to ditch the class.

Besides chem 1o1, high school is going well. I have pre calc and English lit this year, a long with drawing as my elective. I enjoy that class, it's very relaxing.

English lit is bearable. Mrs. K is new this year, so it took some getting used to. But today, we had a pop quiz on authors in the romantic ear.

You know- Percy Shelly, Marry Shelly, William Wordsworth, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Lord Byron, etc.

And guess what?

I ACED IT! I was very proud of myself, thank you very much.

My boy friend, Daniel, is coming up to visit me on the 8th. He lives in North Carolina....it's a long story....either way, I am very happy.

And- he got his web cam today, so we are about to talk on skpe while using it! So I am very happy about that. Anyway, I guess I'm done for the night. I want to talk to my guy =)

Part 1: The Morning of Homecoming

Well, here's to another day of being sick and staying home from school. *clinks glass with imaginary guy in the room* I was home from school yesterday >.<>

Homecoming was a lot of fun this year, which surprised me. Our homecomings are known for their lame themes, then- our ok-ish food, and to top it off- over-all boring-ness. This year, I did not go with a date, making it the first year that I was 'on my own'.

I wasn't to thrilled with the idea. But I went b/c...

  • my friends wanted me to go

  • my mother wanted me to go in the WORST way

  • AND I wanted to prove that I didn't need a guy on my arm to have a good time

Homecoming morning was very....how shall we put this nicely?....a bit hectic. To start things off, I was in a chilled out mood and I wasn't worried about the time.

My dear mother on the other hand, was quite the opposite. I was trying to get everything together, and I could NOT seem to find these bobbie pins that had jewels on them. As it turned out, I had put them in the cabinet when I was cleaning the day before. Needless to say, when my mother and I left the house that morning, we were both a tad bit frazzled.

Our first stop was Giant Eagle. There, we picked up my corsage, which, IMO, turned out beautifully. We were late for my hair app., and had them keep my corsage in the fridge so it wouldn't 'die'.

Then we left to go to my aunts to get my make up done- BUT, we had to turn back b/c we forgot to get my corsage! So we were running later then we were before.

My aunt told us to meet her at their home in Chesterland, so we were on our way there. And we called her to say we were getting close.

As it turns out- she SaId that she told us we were to meet her at the condo in mentor! So that put us behind as well....

Oh, and did I tell you that my digital camera broke that very same day???? Yeah, it was a hectic day.

So, after my aunt Diana did my make up (beautifully I might add), we left for my grandparents house for pictures.

Tanyh (a friend of mine from my church, CLC) is a wonderful photographer and offered to take the photos for the day! So we were saved!!! ON TOP OF IT- she wouldn't even let us pay her. She told us that a friend had given her the film b/c God led them to do so, even if they didn't know why. So someone blessed her, so she blessed us!

But then, we realized that we forgot the corsage at aunt Diana's condo so my mom ran back for it.

So, Tanyh took her pics and then she left. Jaime (a friend of mine from school) came over to take pics with us, so that was cool.

I'll make this a two part post seeing as I don't have time to finish it up. So long!!

Being sick....

....is miserable.

you cough.

you sneeze.

and you try to stand up and you fall down.

your throat hurts and you wonder what you did to deserve this.

I have been sick for 4 days now. I missed school on thursday and came back on friday (a mistake on my part but I couldn't afford to miss the day)

You know the feeling of having cat tails going down your throat? Yeah, that's me.

I had a horrible week. Granted, I did have monday off-- but that is beside the point here.

All of my teachers gave us extra work, and I had to write a poem for english lit (that turned out quite allright if I do not say myself).

But then Wednesday came. It was one of those "can nothing go right?" one of days.

We had extra work today, people were more cranky then normal, not to mention rude. Mrs. K was in a bad mood- and that is saying something. AND I lost my purity ring. Then my teacher wouldn't let me sign out and leave school when my mom came to pick me up. AND I had to go call her to let her know she had to come up. She wasn't going to let me call her b/c I had to walk out of the class room.

I. Am. A. Junior.

I am not some silly 5th grader who goofs off. Why do they treat me as such when I prove that I can act my age??

So after making it clear that I HAD to call her so she would know why I wasn't coming down- I had to walk all the way down stairs and call her. Meaning I was 10 steps away from the car. And then I had to stay down there to open the door for her so she could get it b/c the door was locked!

Long story short- I could have been in the car and half way down 90 by the time I called her, let her in, walked back up stairs, signed out, walked back down stairs, and got in the car.

I was ready to cry!

And THEN- if my day wasn't all ready hectic enough, a train derailed in our home town- so we weren't going to be able to go home b/c the smoke could be dangerous.

Thank the Lord- we were able to go home.

It made for a hectic day. I didn't get home till 6:30....

On a more happy note- Daniel will be coming up from NC on the 26th. I miss him, so it'll be nice to see him again. We're planning upon going to Punderson State Park, the mall, and my old elemenary school. I'd like to show him the house I lived in when I was really little if we get time, and I'll show him my school as well.

Well, I don't have anymore time to post- so I'll get going on my pre calc work >.<>
